The answer is no! You never need to participate in any part that you are not comfortable with. Your consent is vital and we can work with your comfort levels and meet you where you're at. Additionally, you are always welcome to bring someone with you if you choose.
To begin, we always review your history and symptoms to determine how this is affecting your daily life and what your goals are.
Then, a physical evaluation will take place in which motion, coordination, posture, muscle strength and flexibility will be reviewed along with any special tests deemed necessary.
We will discuss your findings and how to manage any challenges with home exercises and strategies to be provided on the first day.
Each appointment lasts typically one hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
